Tracking attendance means a) you allow parents to RSVP to your events, b) you can track actual attendance for each activity.
To allow attendance tracking please check the corresponding box when creating a new activity or a series of activities. Note that only administrators and staff members with the permission 'Allow attendance tracking" are able to use the features described below. Refer here to read about staff permissions.
Parents, in their calendar in Keedgo, will be able to reply YES/NO for each activity - see image below. If you check the box "Set All Students Reserved by Default" (see image above - below 'Track Attendance'), then by default "YES" will be preselected for all activities. For a more comprehensive management of reservations/enrollment - when kids attends specific days and their schedule is set in advance - please refer to Arbitrary Enrollment.
Each RSVP will add to the Reservation Count which you can see when you click on any activity/event:
Note that the admin can set a new reservation or override an existing one at any time.
If you want to limits the parents' ability to change their reservation (for example, too close to the activity start), you can use the setting "Reservation Period" in the main activity setting/editing menu:
If you have capacity constrains for your activity, please use Capacity/Waitlist/Time to Respond settings (see image above). In this case when the reservation count reaches the specified capacity, parents will be placed on the waitlist and notified when a spot becomes available. They will be able to respond (RSVP) within the specified period of time ("time to respond") before Keedgo moves to the next person on the waitlist.
Taking attendance is now easy! Open your activity, click on on 'Attendance" and check your students.
By default the list will show all students, whether they RSVPed YES or NO. You can filter your attendance list by their response via the drop-down menu:
