You can assign arbitrary custom attributes in your roster. This allows you to organize your groups into different subgroups to manage all your scheduling and communications by such subgroups. You can send announcements, messages or create events just for a sub-group of students. For example, you can create a category "Class" and in the values list your possible values – for example, English and Maths. Some common examples of sub-groups for which custom attributes can be used are:
- Camp type (half or full day)
- Level (beginner, intermediate, etc)
- Age group
- Various subgroups (lions, dolphins, etc)
To create custom attributes, click on the group information menu and scroll down to “Custom Attribute”. After creating your attributes, you can assign them to your members – individually (by editing member details) or in one operation in the roster part of the app. Note if you would like to import your roster data with custom attributes, you must create these custom attributes before the import process.
While you can apply multiple custom attributes to your roster, only one can be displayed in the roster. You can choose which one by checking the following box:
